Fleur de Sel Caramel Corn
I am sharing an old family recipe. It is super quick and easy. I have told only a handful of people over the years and they have had to beg for the recipe...so enjoy! Have a crowd on hand because it is very hard to resist!
Fleur de Sel Caramel Corn Stove Top Style

8 Large Marshmallows
1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
1/2 tsp fleur de sel
3 Quarts Popcorn (best cooked over the stove)
Have popcorn ready--white is the best background for this caramel. Melt the butter--do not brown it-- and then stir in the brown sugar. The longer you cook the brown sugar/butter the crispier it will be...watch so it doesn't burn. We like it gooey so we just melt the marshmallows right away.
Add all the marshmallows all at one time. This is sort of like rice krispies in that you need to melt the marshmallows completely. When melted, pour over popcorn, no baking involved.
